Men’s Health Physiotherapy
At Kin we have undertaken university level post-graduate training in treating men’s pelvic floor conditions.
Symptoms we treat:
Urinary urgency, frequency and incontinence. Urinary incontinence is particularly common after prostate cancer surgery. However, men can experience urinary issues without prostate changes. This can include going frequently, rushing to the bathroom or waking in the night frequently to empty their bladder.
Bowel issues: This can include constipation, incontinence of pain with emptying.
Pelvic Pain: Pain from the pelvic floor can refer to the back, hips, groin as well as the lower abdomen and testes. If you have received conventional musculoskeletal treatment and it isn’t working, it could be that your pain is coming from your pelvic floor.
Erectile dysfunction: 50% of men will be affected my erectile dysfunction at some stage during their lives. It is often as thought of as an older person’s issue however that isn’t always the case. It can affect men at any age or stage.
We are here to talk without fear of judgement or embarrassment.
Pelvic floor symptoms can be difficult to talk about. But often patients will say they wish they attended sooner.
