Pregnancy can come with it’s challenges and at Kin we believe all women should be supported by their pelvic health physio during this time.

How we can help:

  • Support for aches and pains while you are pregnant. Including pregnancy related pelvic girdle and lower back pain.

  • Address any pelvic floor issues that may arise including incontinence and constipation.

  • Advice on staying active. It can be scary not knowing what is and isn’t safe. We pride ourselves on staying up to date with the latest evidence to support you in this time.

Aches & Pains

Pregnancy related pelvic girdle pain is extremely common in pregnancy.

Typical symptoms include pain with:

  • getting in and out of the car

  • with walking and going up and downstairs

  • getting dressed standing

  • pain typically feels worse at the end of the day

  • rolling over in bed at night

We can help treat your pain through education, exercises, massage, taping and other manual therapy.

We are also trained to deal with other common pains during pregnancy including lower back pain, rib pain and pain into the hips

Whilst pain in pregnancy is common, it isn’t something you should have to suffer through alone.
