The postpartum period can come with it’s own specific challenges. Not only has your body grown a baby over nine months. It is now dealing with changing hormone levels, the monumental experience of birth, reduced sleep and trying to feel comfortable in itself again. A women’s health physiotherapist has additional training to specifically understand the hormonal and physical changes which occur over pregnancy, birth and postpartum.
